Zambia and Zimbabwe

You’ll have to forgive us for how vague our descriptions are of the photos we took in Zimbabwe.  They have a real problem with Rhinos being poached there so we were asked to be very non specific about where we went on a Rhino walk. You may notice that the Rhinos in these photos do not have horns. This is to try and discourage poaching – because you can actually remove most of a Rhino horn without killing the Rhino. A full Rhino horn is worth upwards of $2m so anything that can be done to discourage poaching is encouraged.  Though we’re still not sold on cutting their horn off being a humane thing to do.

You’ll also have to forgive us for so many photos of Victoria Falls.  There is truly no place like it on earth.
